Our next program from May 20 to May 25 is a Backcountry Birding Adventure led by Brad Barnwell, a knowledgeable and engaging personality who is just completing a deeply researched 300 page book called "Birding Lake County" illustrated with his marvelous photography. Clear Lake is home to some 300 bird species and viewing will be at it's peak for this Spring hiking, kayaking and pontoon boating adventure.
From September 23-28 we will host a program called North of Napa: A Cultural Exploration of Historic Wine Country. We did this program last year and it was a real success - one day on the natural history of the lake, one on the wine industry, one on local farms and foods, and the final day with some of our truly great musicians.
Our final program for 2012 from October 14-19 is a wine week aptly named "North of Napa: Wine Country the Way it Used to Be." This will be our fifth such wine program - highly rated by all participants.
