Weddings
The Tallman is a beautiful location for intimate weddings and related events such as rehearsal dinners or a "morning after" brunch. Arrangements are made through Hotel Manager Susan Mesick (smesick@tallmanhotel.com, 707-275-2244, est. 502). The web site www.LakeCountyWedding.com also lists party planners, suppliers and other wedding-related resources in the County.

"I stumbled upon the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake this time last year and I immediately contacted them, gushing and praising how cute everything was; a one block town with a wooden planked sidewalk, antique shops and an old fashioned saloon. A budding relationship began and when April & Sean asked me to photograph their wedding at the hotel, I was so excited. What made everything even more romantic was their December 18 wedding date, complete with a twinkling Christmas tree and a mistletoe kiss."

All of our group was greeted at the desk by Barb. She was as warm, friendly, gracious, informative and helpful in every way. Everyone in our group talked about how great they were treated by Barb.
The food service at the Blue Wing was wonderful. Jim Warren took great care of all of our group and we had some last minute requests that Jim took care of quickly and always with a smile. Jim went above and beyond by helping us with some post wedding pictures that are spectacular!!!!
And the topper for our group was the entertainment by Michael Maffei. My parents especially ( 83 years old) could not get enough of his music, stories and great sense of humor. We all sang along to most of the music he played and enjoyed all of his entertainment. I would make the trip back up to the Tallman and Blue Wing just for the entertainment and my parents would right on my heals."

Saturday took us to the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake as a new Venue for us. We'd been there a couple yrs back for Dinner & fell in love. It's so quaint & charming - definitely a GREAT destination for close families & friends! The staff is friendly, helpful & just wonderful!
