News Flash: We now have a full liquor license. Come in and order your favorite cocktail.
Located adjacent to the historic Tallman Hotel on Main Street in Upper Lake, California, the Blue Wing Saloon and Cafe is a recreation of the town’s original saloon built in the 1880s and demolished during Prohibition.
The redwood- paneled interior is complete with an ornate East-lake Style back-bar and the exterior includes a comfortable veranda and garden seating.
In the tradition of the original saloon, we proudly offer our customers fine food as well as local wines and micro brews at affordable prices. We're open for lunch and dinner daily.
NOTE: Reservations accepted for parties of all sizes at 707-275-2233. Reservations suggested for parties of 6 or more.

Sushi Thursday
For those who love sushi, one of Lake County’s premier practitioners of the art – Ross Christensen – makes the small sushi pieces and rolls to order at the Restaurant every Thursday evening.
In addition to the California and other traditional “Maki” rolls, Christensen has developed some unique local specialties such as the “Clear Lake Roll” (tuna, salmon, halibut and wasabi in nori) and the “Upper Lake Roll” (BBQ pork and coleslaw in nori). A favorite dessert specialty is sure to be the “Kelseyville Roll” (pear cooked in five spice syrup wrapped in Upper Lake red walnuts, wined rice and soy).
BBQ Specials Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, BBQ chef Tony Chicarilli loads baby-back ribs, chicken, beef and fish onto our barbeque, custom made from a salvaged industrial boiler.
We smoke all our meats and fish over an oak fire for at least 4 hours before we finish on the grill, then serve with our house made spicy or mild “root beer” BBQ sauces. Enjoy these BBQ specials on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
