About the Tallman Hotel

AND, effective February 2011, the Tallman became the first site in Lake County to install an electric car charging station. Located in our parking lot (below left), the station can charge any 2010 or later all electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles and prior year vehicles (like the three wheeled Sparrows at left) with an adapter. The charge is FREE, so charge up while eating in the Blue Wing or staying overnight at the Tallman.
The central feature of the 17-room Tallman Hotel complex consists of the main historic hotel, originally constructed in 1896 and fully restored and reopened in 2006. Downstairs is the parlor and reception area along with a beautifully decorated dining room. Upstairs are four guest rooms in the Historic Hotel featuring fully restored period bathroom fixtures and private verandas.
Facing a shady garden is the Blue Wing Saloon Restaurant (open 7 days a week) and a complex of eight Garden Rooms, all with verandas facing the garden. The four lower Garden rooms each feature a private back deck with outdoor shower and a teak Japanese "Ofuro" soaking tub.
Next to the Garden rooms is a sparkling and relaxing pool and spa. Pool is seasonally heated.
The complex also features the Caretakers unit consisting of three spacious suites and the Farmhouse building with an ADA accessible suite topped by a unique single garret room with private balcony.
Next to the hotel dining room is the detached, fully-equipped Riffe's Meeting House that can easily accommodate meetings of up to 40 people.
A delicious complimentary continental breakfast is served in the Historic Hotel's Dining Room.

The Tallman Hotel makes every effort to accommodate well-trained pets under 20 pounds but availability can only be confirmed when booking by phone and an additional pet fee will apply.
